What we do
At 355design our focus is on business applications which are delivered online. For many of our clients this means a business-to-business scenario where the application is provided within the company's intranet or extranet. Sometimes it means an application which is generally available on the web so that external businesses can log in to use services.
Our background
355design is a core of dedicated professionals with many years' experience of creating and supporting online applications for different clients. We also have a network of consultants to whom we outsource some of the project work where appropriate.
We have a history of delivering high-quality solutions on time and on budget. Our belief is that communication lies at the heart of a successful project and we take care to build in milestones where progress can be assessed and functionality can be validated. We are also conscious of the crucial element of conversation between the application and the user, where user-friendly screens and optimised processing ensure that the system is intuitive and easy to learn and operate.
Technology
We choose to work with the latest but well-proven technologies from Microsoft, and we make sure that our clients' applications are constantly upgraded to the most recent fully-tested versions of those technologies. The .NET Framework and Sql Server are the central building blocks, in conjunction with techniques such as XML, XSLT, message queuing, Ajax and web services.
